Springfield Men Win Fall Season Opener

For those that did not attend the mens game today the rifles won 24-6. We had a lot of new players step up big time on the field. For anyone who haven't seen the team in the last few weeks we have many new players who have come in and made an immediate impact. For the first time since I have been on the team I feel that our back line has the potential to be the strongest part of our team. While we still have a very strong pack it is very nice to have confidence that when the ball is sent wide not only are plays being made but backs are rucking and securing te ball to give the forwards time to get there to help We are off to a great start this season and hopefully I will be reporting many more wins to everyone this season.
