Springfield Women's Rugby
The Springfield Women’s Rugby Football Club
(SWRFC) is based out of Springfield, Ma. The Women Rifles were created in the spring of 2007 as a sister club to the Springfield Men’s Rugby Football Club. We are currently trying to establish ourselves with veteran and new players. At this time we are a Division III rugby football club with the New England Rugby Football Union, and play against teams from all over the northeast. Vividly described as “a hooligans’ game played by gentlemen,” we understand that this most physically punishing of all ball sports is not just for gentlemen. We play under a rigorous rule code, and we play for the fun of competition and to win. Please join us as a team member or as a fan. See you on the pitch!
